Each artist start selling at Tier 1; $100, $250 price point and are able to unlock higher tiers the more they sell; Tier 2 - $500, $750; Tier 3 - $1000, $1500. The company was founded in August 2013 by Ethan Appleby, Win Raguini, Patrick Coughlin, and Brandon Flayler under the name Arttwo50. The company initially focused on original artworks at only $250 price point and launched with an iPad application to visualize artworks on your wall.〔http://techcrunch.com/2013/07/24/arttwo50/〕
